    Story

Hawkhill Community Centre is a small community based charity set in one of the most multi-deprovational areas within Clackmannanshire. They have approx. 110 children attending every week to homework club and youth clubs. The children are all given a hot meal and help with their homework. They also provide a food bank where parents can access basic foods should they be struggling at home.

Organisations such as Hawkhill Community Centre are at the heart of our community and need our support to keep on running. They provide a vital service to our community's most vulnerable families.

we want to help by walking all 96 miles of the West Highland Way by the end of April. We have wanted to do the West Highland Way for a while now and wanted help raise funds for one of our local charities. We know how much Hawkhill Community Centre is needed in our area and want raise as much funds for them as possible!

We did it! We completed the West Highland Way on Wednesday. It was tough, it was painful, but it was great fun too! Thanks to all of you for your donations! We actually clocked up over 110 miles instead of the "96" mentioned on the West Highland Way website!

You two are going great guns. Good luck! My mum used to work in Hawkhill before my folks moved to Inverness so it's a place I would like to see being developed more.
