I am raising money for the Doddie Weir Foundation for MND research.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing terminal illness, which stops signals from the brain reaching the muscles. In MND, messages from the nerves gradually stop reaching the muscles, which causes them to weaken and waste away. Eventually, this leads to paralysis and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. Sadly there are no therapies that can stop progression of MND and little is known about why the disease strikes some but not others.

I am taking part in a Grand Parade of Tractors that will take place on Sunday 5th November at Thirlestane Castle, to raise funds for research into Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and give a very visual show of support for those affected by MND in the community.
