I've been working in Nepal for 3 years, & I'm thrilled and honoured to be helping promote the Hult Prize, hosted by Tribhuvan University's School of Management, Kathmandu.

This year the Hult Prize will be awarded for the most effective & innovative proposal for income generation, created solely by students.

Endorsed by the UN & supported by the Clinton Foundation. The Hult Prize Foundation is a start-up accelerator for budding young social entrepreneurs emerging from universities around the world. The annual competition for the Hult Prize aims to build and launch the most compelling social business ideas & start-ups tackling grave issues faced by billions of people every day.

The School of Management, Tribhuvan University, (SOMTU) is an autonomous institution operates full-time professional Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programs.

The Hult Prize encourages all departments & TU affilliated colleges. The outreach is extraordinary, as the competition is open to over 400,000 students. Promotional events will take place colleges and departments of TU all over Nepal.

This scope is essential for new & innovative ideas to create new employment oppurtunities. The winner of the intra-university event will automatically advance to compete in the regional finals in March 2019.

The winning team from each host city will then be tested in a Summer business incubator, receiving mentorship, advice & strategic planning; creating prototypes for realising their vision. A final round of competition will be hosted in September 2019, & the winning team awarded the $1,000,000 prize.

The above mentioned funds will be used to organize the event at School of Management, Tribhuvan University and also, support the winner of the event to participate in Regional Competitions.
