My mission: On the 3rd of December 2017 I plan to shave all my hair off n memory of a lovely young lady, Esther Ruby Childress who unfortunately lost her life to cancer 5 years ago.

Before Esther passed away she truly made an impacted on many lifes and mine was one of them.
She opened my eyes to see that although you might be going through the mill in your life you should still find time to do a selfless act.
She also got me thinking about what a great thing it is to help the homeless by providing them with a meal and items to keep them going while they live on the streets.

In 2014, all rived up with inspiration I decided to join All people All places charity's big sleep for my 30th birthday. This meant sleeping ruff for one night in the month of November.
This experience was another eye opener for me. Although I slept the whole night (which isn't a surprise as I can sleep anywhere) I woke up quite damp and quite cold. I knew it hadn't rained and I definitely was wrapped up warm.
I then realised that dew had been the cause of it all. That really stuck in my mind as so many people are sleeping on the streets every night and very likely waking up in wet clothing and then doing it over and over again.

So with your help I will not only be able to work with Grace baptist chapel's homeless outreach to provide sleeping bags, thermal blankets and others essentials but I will also be able to continue to create care packs to distribute to people that are sleeping ruff.
