Funded on Friday, 6th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Ian, Simon and Tom will be taking part in the 2017 Screwball Rally in support of two local charities, the Scole Pre-School Group and Nelson's Journey.

Your donations will be very much appreciated for these two worthy charities. The Scole Pre-School Group (Registered Charity 1048460) provides a safe and secure learning environment for pre-school children aged between two and five years old whilst Nelson's Journey (Registered Charity 1065775) offers support to children and young people who have experienced the bereavement of a significant person in their lives. All donations will be split equally between both charities.

The 2017 Screwball Rally consists of a 3,000 mile round road trip between 21st and 25th September through France, Italy, Lichtenstein and Germany in a car bought for less than £750.

We will be in good company with 90 other cars competing, full details of the rally and course can be found on the Screwball Rally web page (www.screwballrally.co.uk).

For our inaugural trip we have purchased a 2002 Rover 75 no less, a 2.5 V6 automatic with 86,000 miles on the clock. The big question will this British "classic" make it round?
