The four of use have been lucky enough to be selected to run on behalf of the Royal Families Charities Forum. Founded in 2006 by The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry it is a way to bring their individual charitable interests together and to explore how they could best lend their support to them all in an effective and efficient way. The Forum has evolved over the years, expanding as The Princes' charitable activities grew. Today, there are over 30 organisations involved in the group including The Duchess of Cambridge’s charities. All the charities work in sectors that support Their Royal Highnesses key charitable areas of focus, including: supporting members of the armed forces and their families, helping children and young people, and promoting conservation and sustainable development.

We have therefore decided to raise money for The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principal charity of the Royal Navy. We exist to support sailors, marines and their families, for life.

Beneficiaries lie at the heart of The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity's purpose, it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, we have funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. We also distribute millions of pounds annually to military charities which care for the children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
