I am trying to raise enough funds to begin team production of a 3D human ear shaped pin badge. The idea behind it is that the wearer signifies that they are happy to listen to any problems, that any other person needs or feels the urge to discuss. #ImAListener.
The money raised would go to the immediate production of the new badges. I have set an initial target of 10 thousand individual badges.
I am a 40 year old man who has suffered with ptsd, depression and social anxiety.. I still struggle to battle certain demons, I can honestly say there has been numerous occasions when I have wanted somebody to just listen to my problems. A non judgemental ear can sometimes be all that is required.
During my life, I was unfortunate enough to homeless, and as a result was unable to access certain help. The infamous red tape would always appear, " are you registered? No? Well sorry we can't help" came the response more often than not.
This simple idea could be the free infrastructure for all to access at anytime, the opportunity that could be a global, socially beneficial infrastructure.for all.
