Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Conservation in Africa is a never-ending war. Imire Rhino and Wildlife Conservation in Zimbabwe passionately believe in combining conservation, the upliftment of local communities, education and eco-tourism.
Safeguarding a flagship species means Imire creates an umbrella of protection for thousands of other animals and local communities too.
The effect this pandemic has had on Imire's operations has been nothing short of catastrophic. Without any access to much needed funds their operations can and will grind to a halt. Unemployment and starvation are a driver of poaching and already there have been devastating consequences.
Through this dark time, there is a beacon of light. The birth only a few days ago of a female rhino calf. The hope this new life brings strengthens Imire's commitment and dedication to their work on the ground.
Imire need your support now more than ever. Your donation will be used to support the Imire Anti-Poaching Unit, a team of 32 dedicated and selfless men who guard rhino 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This gift is in memory of my mother Margaret W Peters, who died last month at the age of 88. She was a very kind and compassionate woman who loved animals, nature and conservation. She will be missed

Volunteering at Imire was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My heart is so full of love for the animals, and so grateful to all who protect them. I will definitely return someday!!!

I missed deadline to name new baby rhino. I would have chosen Zoey. It means the abundant love God has for us.
