Immerse

We are an Events Management team studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. As part of our degree we are required to create an event from the ground up, including all event management aspects such as planning, logistics and fundraising. With your help we aim to utilise our event to raise funds and awareness for our chosen charity, Village Aid.

Village Aid are a charity based in the Peak District who do excellent work to empower people across Africa. Providing them with the skills, knowledge and tools to sustainably change their own and their communities lives. You can find out more about their mission here.

The event we are putting on will be a 'Stars in their Eyes' style event, on the 21st of February 2017. It will include a selection of talented acts from across the Manchester area, whom will deeply embrace their role and perform to be crowned the winner. Beside the fantastic live entertainment, there will be an array of other activities and opportunities to raise money and awareness for Village Aid.

We aim to raise a 2:1 ratio to give to the charity, for example, if it costs £200 to put on the event, we expect to hand over £400 to Village Aid.
