Story
Carole Nathlee Douglas, (lovingly known as 'Caz') was taken us from us suddenly following a short illness on 3rd July 2018, aged 59. Carole leaves behind her five much loved grandchildren, mother Doris Elaine, daughter Kamika, siblings, family members, friends and colleagues, all of whom already miss her greatly.
We've been overwhelmed by the expression of love and support, and the desire to help the family at this difficult time. Many people have already, and continue to ask how they can send flowers, support the family in different ways and also contribute financially. Therefore the family have decided to launch this Just Giving page.
It was Carole's wish to be buried in Gloucester, the city of her birth. Therefore in lieu of flowers and other gifts the family have asked for financial donations s that will be used towards transportation from London to Gloucester, and other costs, as well as supporting some of Carole's pet projects, including the continuation in some way of Zawadi Enterprises.
Funeral details of Carole Douglas are as follows:
Funeral Date: Tuesday 24th July 2018
Time: 1pm
Venue: St Oswald's Church, Druids Lane, Gloucester, GL4 4RH
Interment: Coney Hill Cemetery, Coney Hill Road, Gloucester, GL4 4PA
Afterwards: All Nations Community Centre (formerly Jamaican Sports and Social Club), Chase Lane - off Eastern Avenue, Gloucester, GL4 6PH
Transportation: Free coaches will leave at 9am on Tuesday 24th July 2018 from Chatsworth Baptist Church, Chatsworth Road SE27 and outside Lambeth Town Hall, Brixton, London, SW9. Click here to reserve your seat
Return journey will depart from Gloucester 7.30pm, at the latest.
