Inayah Support Group is aimed at parents and carers of disabled and special needs children and young adults. We are carer volunteers who know that looking after someone can be very tough and we are here to listen, and give or sign post parents to someone who can give expert information and advice tailored to their specific situation and mainly to champion their rights and make sure carers do not feel isolated and alone. Our aim also includes raising awareness of both visible and hidden disabilities and to improve the accessibility of services within Wandsworth.

This new support group started in May 2017 and so far, we set up monthly support meetings at Tooting Mosque and have helped many families. We also held two Eid family fun day on the 1st of July and 2nd of September 2017, for children with special needs and their families to celebrate this occasion in a safe and supported environment. We are here to make lives better by supporting our community especially those with caring responsibility by creating a community in which they feel valued and respected. Therefore have organised another Eid family fun day at Tooting leisure centre on the 23rd of June 2018.
