HELLO!

We are Jessica, Joe, Lauren and Jess. We are embarking on an extraordinary challenge in December 2021: The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. We’ve named our team In Deep Ship because that’s exactly how we feel!

OUR MISSION

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic challenge is a 3000 mile rowing mission from La Gomera in the Canary Islands, to Antigua in the Caribbean. It can’t be underestimated how dangerous this challenge could be. We’ll come across 20 ft waves, row over sea valleys 5 miles deep, battle against huge storms - more people have climbed Everest than completed this challenge!

We are changing our desk and city based jobs for the water. We will push ourselves to our limits, train like athletes and hope we can inspire others to follow their dreams - anything is possible with hard work and determination.

We’ve decided to come together and push ourselves for 3 charities we all believe in - we aim to raise £60,000 which will be split equally between each. Crisis and Covenant House are two charities that support the Homeless community. Our third charity, Anthony Nolan, finds stem cell transplants for people with blood cancer. All three charities strive to give people a fresh start and the four of us believe that if they can do incredible things then perhaps we can too.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We are dedicated to putting our lives on hold and at risk of being eaten by sharks to raise money for these vital charities, and we are just asking for a donation to make this all worthwhile and to support our charitable campaign.
