Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are a group of students at the University of Southampton, studying Sustainability. We have partnered with DECCMA an organisation that looks at migration & adaptation to climate change in rural areas. We also have association with Jadavpur University and their students, who will assist us. We are working this summer in the Sundarban Delta, West Bengal in 3 villages. We all have different areas of interest. My interest is looking into different types of occupations of women in rural areas. I want to gain insight into their life histories, their perceptions of their work and how their occupation impacts their overall wellbeing. We need funding for cost of certain transport, vaccination costs and in-field research materials cost.
