    Story

    Joseph Nyoni (Joe) 09/04/1965 - 05/10/2017

Tragically, Joe passed away on 5th October 2017 in a motor vehicle accident on his way to work. He leaves behind his son Sibusiso Nyoni who has no income of his own and has now been left with a funeral to plan and fund.

Joe was born in Zimbabwe and came to South Africa in 1983 to follow his passion and pursue a career as a chef. He worked in various hotels and restaurants before settling in at the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Johannesburg in October 2001.

For the past 16 years, Joe played a pivotal role in the kitchen and was well respected and loved by his colleagues. He was always the first to arrive for duty and he would greet everyone with a warm and sincere smile every single day.

His passing has left a void in our Clubhouse and Joe will be remembered and missed for his cheerful disposition that made it so easy to work alongside him. He was a genuinely nice guy that cared deeply for his colleagues.

Please donate as much or as little as you would like to help Joe's family in their time of need.
