Following a brain scan on the afternoon of Friday the 21st of July, with his family around him the heartbreaking decision was made to turn off the ventilator keeping 16 year old Adam Hussain alive.

This happened after he suffered a severe and sudden asthma attack on the evening of Wednesday the 19th of July.

For the two weeks before his death Adam had been taking part in the NCS scheme, where he made new friends, developed new skills and had new experiences.
This course also involves participants taking part in social action in the local area of Worcester.
The friends Adam made during this time have decided that their social action should be put towards helping the Hussain family with the immense grief now felt by all who knew and loved him, as well as raising funds to create a lasting memorial to him.

We have all experienced loss, and when this loss is that of a son, brother, friend and loved one, who has died so young, the grief this creates is only increased.
