Story
Halloween Adventure.
.I'm asking for help to raise funds to give the kids a safe and thrilling adventure on Halloween. We want to hold it in our community garden run by Merseybank Estate Group who in turn offers free help, growing space and everything the community needs to grow fresh food which is not available in the local shops. (2 off licences and 2 fast food shops). To bring our kids into the garden we Mums, Dad's and grandparents are holding events to suprise and excite the youngsters, our first being an Indian a Jones style adventure through the garden with challenges, puzzles scares and surprises. We have managed to get donations of food and drink, a projector and screen for an on air cinema for the older children, plenty of recycling materials and bits to do make and do. Lots of ideas for challenges and puzzles. However we need funding to make the event safe. We need lots of candlelight battery operated of course, pumpkins, illuminated decorations, canes tent pegs and nylon string to make and secure figures and scarecrows. Popping corn and straws etc for the cinema experience etc . Lots of bits and pieces to give the children a great halloween night. We have chosen an adventure to include families who don't celebrate halloween so their children can join in without costumes etc. We hope to have all the kids off the street alone trick or treating and help the elderly and infirm have a peaceful halloween. We are planning to do this every year so most of what you donate will be used over and over again.I hope you will support us.
