On 23rd June, I will be donning my wet suit & shark shaped goggles to swim 1 mile in murky, freezing, duck-infested waters during the Great East Swim. Believe it or not, I have not gone insane...

There is a very good reason for wanting to bathe in pond weed as I will be raising funds for Tiffers - The Bus Shelter Ipswich, a local homeless charity. Tiffers is an invaluable support service to the homeless. Not only providing a place to sleep for up to 14 guests, it also works alongside main stream services to provide 24/7 support and counselling.

It has everything you need to give someone a safe, warm space and a chance to get back on their feet.

But running the bus isn't free...Tiffers costs approx. £25,000 a year to run (not including any unforeseen mishaps). Which sounds a lot but when you break it down; it works out that 24/7 support to a rough sleeper costs as little as £149 per month!

I'm aiming to raise £149, a relatively small amount that can make such a HUGE difference. Please sponsor my temporary insanity for this tremendously good cause :)
