As many people know, on 14 June 2017, a serious structural fire occurred at Grenfell Tower, a high tower block of public housing flats in North Kensington, west London, England. It is thought that 79 people are either dead, missing or presumed dead.

Since the incident, I have wanted to help in any way I can. I came up with the idea of doing something extremely difficult that would pose both a challenge for me, but also help to raise money for a great cause. Any money raised will help support those affected by the fire.

I plan to walk and run the entire Isle of Wight Coastal Path, which is about 68 miles long, in just 24 hours. For now, it is planned that on 30th June, at 8am, I set set off. I have never attempted anything on this scale and it will by far be my greatest challenge.

I hope that with lots of support and fundraising, I can at least try to help the people that so urgently need it.
