    Story

We are raising funds to create a Safer School Zone by purchasing timer-controlled Speed Reduction School signs (at Iver Heath Infant School) and traffic calming street furniture (at Iver Heath Junior School).

We are also working closely with Iver Heath Schools (and PTAs), Councils and Police on plans for Parking Pledges & Road Safety Days.

What have we done so far?
Police have already carried out Traffic Stops (more to come!). New Child Awareness bollards are being installed soon with new SLOW road markings. Zebra Crossing is also about to be repainted.

A team of concerned Iver Heath Parents created this community group. We are liaising with Councils for funding, local businesses and applying for community grants but this is a community-led initiative; for the people by the people.

    The Future:
A community self-resourced initiative to make a better vehicle access and safer footpath access to the Iver Heath Junior School entrance (and Library & Village Hall) and possible upgrades of our Zebra Crossing beacons to Zeebrites (like in Iver Village).

Offline donations and grants will appear in UPDATES below.

We'd like to thank both Iver Heath Schools, PTAs, our Neighbourhood Police, Ivers Parish Council and Bucks County Council for their time, commitment and advice so far.
