We created this page to raise awarness and support other breaved parents and families who have lost a baby after we lost our daughter Ivy-Rae on the 8th June 2018 during natural labour.
I had a perfect pregnancy , no sickness, very low risk and it all carried on smoothly , on the 8th June at 7:30am I went into labour , I was planning a homebirth so just called my midwife to come out.
At 8:40 the pain became unbearable and I was unable to talk , the midwife checked my babys heartrate and at almost half of what it should have been worry started.
We called and waited for the ambulance to be transfered into hospital.
I started to push in the ambulance and on arrival at hospital I was in full active labour.
At 10:22am our beautiful baby girl was born sleeping, with doctors and nurses trying to help her for a long 25minutes , at 10:47am they stopped and told us the news no parent should have to hear, "I'm so sorry but your baby hasn't made it".
We was in disbelief, babies dont just die , but in reality this did happen and it happened to us , and unfortunly it will happen again to somone eles, the heartache we feel is a pain that never goes away , it changes your whole life , and way of thinking.
We are wanting to raise money to put together some boxes to help parents after losing their baby, things to make memories, keepsakes, an Angel journal to help them comunicate their feelings ect. We know how much of a long , dark and lonley journey we are on , we are hoping to comfort others who may not have a support network , and be able to offer them hope and help them through
I hope we can make a diffrence, we are not alone in this ☀️🌻
