I'm using this site to ask for sponsorship to run 200 consecutive 5k's starting on 5th October.

The challenge is fairly simple. Get my arse out of bed and run a 5k every single day for the next 200 days. If you need that putting into perspective, it means running every day until past Easter 2017, and in total I will cover the equivalent of a return journey from Newcastle to London.

All money raised will go directly to help Wayne Partridge and his family. In June 2016 Wayne was rushed to hospital in Germany where he was working, and the doctors discovered he had brain tumours.

Wayne is self-employed, so since then he has been unable to work. This site is for Wayne, Nicola (his wife), Scarlett and Layla (his daughters) to raise money for them all during this difficult time.

Wayne has a lot of very good friends and family members who care about him and want to support him in anyway they can through numerous fund raising events or by donating to those events, so you may have previously donated to one of the other Justgiving pages setup specifically for other events. Please don't let that stop you donating to this one though as every penny really does count.

The money collected will go directly to Wayne and his family and used towards whatever they need to support them during this difficult time!

Please try and spare as little or as much as you can. Reaching the target would be fantastic but the idea is to raise as much as possible for Wayne and his family.
