Story
As some of you may be aware one of my best friends, James Phythian was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma earlier this year. As a show of support, a small group of friends are planning to do a sponsored head shave on Sunday 24th September
I met James over 10 years ago at college where we played on the football team together. in the following years and many holidays later we became extremely close and I am so thankful to be able to call him one of my best mates. I personally cant stress enough how immensely proud I have been of James over the last few months. His positive outlook to his diagnosis and treatment has been truly inspirational. I cant begin to fathom how difficult these months have been on him and is family but spending time with James you would never guess it.
As everyone knows, one of the side effects of chemotherapy is hair loss and this is why we have decided to support him. This will not be easy for any of us.
The money raised will go towards everyday living costs to help him through the rest of his treatment. During the treatment phases James has been unable to work - not by choice, and this has made a difficult time much more problematic. I would appreciate any donation possible towards the shave.
