Story
As part of World Challenge I am visiting India in July. During the trip, I will be working in a rural community. This work will include helping to construct a new, clean toilet for the community, building some stairs and other construction work to make it easier for the people in the community to get around.
I have already raised much of the money I need to fund the trip. I have been raising money for the last eighteen months and during this time I have undertaken a sponsored challenger run, started a paper round which I do seven days a week and saved money from my birthday and from Christmas.
To raise the last part of the money needed, I will be walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 27th May. This is a 24.5 mile walk which includes the three peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. This will be a tough challenge for me to undertake and it will be great practice for walking in the Himalayas.
I would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor me for my walk. If you would like to more about the walk, or my itinerary when I’m in India, please let me know.
Many thanks,
Jack
