Weʼve raised £315 to help send Jacob to the World Scout Jamboree in 2019

Funded on Friday, 18th May 2018

    Story

My name is Jacob and in December 2017 I was lucky to be selected to represent my county (and country) and the World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) in 2019.

The WSJ is a meeting of thousands of young people from around the world and is a unique opportunity to spend time with other Scouts of various cultures and religions.

The trip last for 3 weeks but it isn’t cheap and I am expected to fundraise the money. This is because a large proportion of the cost will subsidise a child from a poorer background who would otherwise have no chance of attending the event.

I am therefore asking friends, family and local businesses to help me and another child take part in this truly amazing opportunity of a lifetime. Can you help?

    Thank you for your time.
