Anyone that knows us will know that my beautiful daddy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Vascular dementia this year and it was crazy but made a lot of sense at the same time.
DEED was there for us when we knew nothing and were scared and lost and they offered training and now my wee daddy goes to their memory cafe - a vital day out for him.
I am also planning on doing the Foyle Alzheimers memory walk on 9th September and if he's well enough dad will be doing it with me.
I am looking to raise awareness as well as some money to help both these charities continue to do vital work in our local area.
I know everyone is looking for donations and it's a tough economy but if anyone can spare a small donation it would be greatly appreciated. 💜
