For many years my school, Sir William Perkins school, has had an ongoing relationship with our partner school, Bantama school in Ghana. Teachers from Ghana came over to our school earlier this year to talk to us about their life there and the children they teach. It's a very poor area and the school needs constant investment. The children there love going to school and especially enjoy the visits by the international volunteers. I will be spending 10 days there in October 2017 during my half term holiday. This will be a working residential trip. We will have the chance to get involved in some building work, assisting teachers in the classroom, and socialising.

As a group we are all trying to raise money to furnish an ICT suite. Me and my friends are doing the 5K Colour Rush obstacle course together and would be so grateful if you could make a donation to help us and the pupils at Bantama school
