Corey, now 20 was born with a rare brain defect(Lissencephaly-Pachycortex) This means he has no speech or ways of communicating his needs or wishes .He sees the world as a 9/12 month old , however he is a happy, fun young man that battles with the frustration of being silent.

Years of trying find ways to help Corey we finally gain an app for his ipad and the excitment to finally have a plan, unfortunatley we then find out his ipad is not compatible.

This means a 5th gen or above I pad is needed to give Corey the gift of communcating. Something we feel he needs and stop his frustrations and help staff and carers with his wishes.

Our wish is to give Corey a chance to try and have his say in his adult years.

Please could you help in any way, just to hear him say a simple thing, like ‘hello‘ or ‘no‘ would mean the world.
