Owen Gibb is 3 and a half years old. He recently became the proud big brother of his sister Julia, when the health visitor was out to check how mum and Julia were doing she commented how pale Owen looked.

Mum and dad took Owen to the GP the next day who refered them on to Alder Hey children's hospital to have bloods taken, they went the next morning and fully expected to find out the results in a weeks time.

Two hours later they received a phone call with suspected Lukemia diagnosis. Four days of tests and hospital visits followed that phone call. On 4th of July they returned to the hospital to and Acute Lymphoblastic Lukemia was confirmed.

It's going to be a long road for Owen and his family, but one that they are determined to face together. It is truly inspiring to see such strength in such a little boy and so much love around him. We want to show our support to this incredible family.

I have heard stories of children having Lukemia before but it's never happened to anyone iv ever known. To watch Owen is humbling. He laughs, he adores his mummy and daddy, loves his sister, plays with his friends, talks about his favourite Superhero's like Spideman , yet he is a bigger Superhero than them all.

We are raising money for the Gibb family, to make life just a little easier for them. Let them enjoy the good days with some days out, or easing the pressure from some of the bills, Make life just that bit less stressful as they help Owen beat this like we all know he will.
