Why a mobile service? Why should you always have to go to services, why can't they come to you. Let's start thinking about all those people who are not able to go to services, particularly those who need them the most. The elderly, carers of those looking after a disabled child or adult, family members looking after an elderly relative, neighbour's who pop in but might not know where to get more information or help, yes even people who work hard and don't have the luxury of taking time off work to go and source the information for services they might need - yes the list is endless.

We would like to try out our idea and if it works then maybe NHS and social service providers may just use the model in the future to benefit us all.

If you think we have something every little penny will count. We will use the funds raised to buy or lease an appropriate mobile service/information bus, this will ensure that we can take resources with us along with some contact details. We will also need to purchase a good laptop with wireless or take out a contract to ensure we can access a network no matter where we are (this is more important when in rural areas where broadband access is weakest), Yes funds will be used to meet the petrol or diesel costs - but we WON'T use your money for salaries.
