So a lot of you know my little brother conor, and what he has been through. Four months ago, he received his very lucky gift of life after a long wait for a new liver. His recovery was super speedy due to Conor's pure strength, determination and positivity. The way he has dealt with the whole situation has been utterly inspiring to us all. He left hospital after two weeks, he returned to his much loved apprenticeship within 6 weeks, he saved up for a motorbike, passed his CBT test, and just loved being out on the road. It gave him independence and enjoyment! Not only this, but conor has now passed his driving test. He already has his own car which he worked hard to save up to buy, and now, the one thing holding him back from getting his car on the road is the cost of the car insurance, or as conor says "the fact he's got a willy" 😂 Referring to the fact that his sister abbies first insurance was half the price!
Conor is an inspirational young man, at the age of 17, he is sensible, caring, and would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it.
I have one plea for all our friends, family and people who know us... can we please possibly all offer just a couple of quid to try and get conor on the road?? I think, he is so deserving of this one final thing as the last piece to his success puzzle.
If we can give him a head start with £500, I know he would be so greatful and humbled.
