My Nan who recently passed on the 2nd June sadly from Terminal Lung Cancer, passed in St Wilfred’s who were amazing and made this difficult time as positive and special as possible, helping her with everything and making her comfortable and calm and all times, they were all so happy and supportive and lovely and is the best place that nan could of gone and as sad as it was, she was so peaceful when she went, all because of st Wilfred’s amazing work! The money donated for this will go to a name plaque with a 12 month space on the wall in memory of nan on a memory tree, all the money payed to get this goes straight to st Wilfred’s to fund helping other people who may be in a similar situation to what we were as a family and my nan, the money of £300 for the gold name plaque could go towards something such as four days of care from a nurse on the Inpatient Unit at the Hospice.
I have started my Goal on £100 which is enough for two visits from a Hospice at Home team member to patien in the community, this would also get a bronze name plaque for Nan on the wall engraved.

£300 - Gold leaf name plaque - Could pay for four days of care from a nurse on the impatient unit at the hospice
