On 1st July 2017 I will be taking part in the Colour Run 5km Manchester. This will be my very first running event which makes it more exciting!

As well as doing this event for myself, I will be raising money for my local Girl Guiding group - 1st Bickershaw Guides. I am a volunteer leader at this group to help young girls to develop skills, confidence and to make friends.

Girl Guiding UK is the leading charity for girls to help them develop and to have fun like girls should! Activities can include day trips, camping trips, fundraising, skills and unique opportunities for girls to take part in.

The money which I hope to raise by doing the Colour Run will go towards the guiding group to enable the girls at 1st Bickershaw Guides to experience opportunities with their friends. Such as the BIG GIG, camping trips and the opportunity to an international event next year to Prague.
