In a moment of office cleaning, Jake's external hard drive fell approximately 2 cm resulting in sever damage to the disc. Stored on this hard drive was 4 years worth of work, including irreplacable art, music, photos and designs. In the last week since this happened Jake has been assessing the damage, and it is quite difficult to explain the impact of losing so many thousands of hours worth of work, but for those of you familiar with his previous and unfinished work, here are some examples of what could be lost forever...blue prints and photos of the Temple, from the Common at Glastonbury, Uncommon Records artwork, illustration portfolio, 30000 word essay/MA proposal/ book, film and photos of the kids, design work for Boomtown Fair, remastered flyers, music from various bands...basically everything. Unfortunately this data is now stuck inside the hard drive and has to be sent off to a recovery specialist at great expense.
