Story
We are walking, running, jogging, skipping anything on out feets For 200 miles in 30 days. From the 1st April to 30th April. We are small and mighty who are going to be dedicated in doing the full 200 miles each. (Jakey 100) to help raise much needed funds for Jakeys journey Caravan Trust. A young boy who is raising money so he can help other sick children like himself have free holidays. Jake wants to help others have holidays and make long lasting memories and give them a break away from hospitals and gruelling treatment and tests.
Jake suffers from a bone marrow disorder called Diamond Blackfan Aniemea (DBA) which is red cell bone marrow failire, and only affects around 600-700 people world wide. DBA is lifelimiting and life lived is through blood transfusions and high medication doses. Along with DBA Jake suffers from other medical conditions which restrict his quality of life. But through everything even the hardest of days Jake has always thought of others, and always wants others to smile. Hos motto is Bee Happy and always through everything he has smiled. He is out biggest inspiration, and makes is proud to know him. We want to help Jake by raising as much as we can so he can get closer to being able to succeed in his dreams of helping others. Jake chose to start raising funds when he was in hospital and missibg out on his own holiday because he was poorly. He wanted he help other children and their families have a holiday so no one would ever have to miss out of family memory making because they were sick. ❤️
Thank you for taking the time to resd our story. And thank you for your donation it really does mean the world to us.
