Asalamu Alaykum,

As some of you may know, I recently had the blessed opportunity to go to Palestine and visit Masjid Al Aqsa.

Whilst out there; we managed to visit homes outside of the Old City in order to distribute money and provisions to the needy. The homes that we visited were in states that I’d personally never seen before other than on war movies with roofs, walls and rooms broken and almost all being in really unhygienic and overcrowded conditions. It was evident that the struggle was real and hard for a lot of young children and families.

One house that we went to was a home to 10 children’s and majority of them were orphans. The male of the household had a long term illness and couldn’t provide adequately for the children. This particular house stood out as it had holes in the walls the size of a pool table and was being covered by rugs to prevent snakes crawling in and keeping the home warm!! These holes are visible in the attached pictures.

In that moment, Alhamdulillah I made the intention to Insha’Allah help build a home for this family.

It was estimated that it will cost around £10.000 to rebuild this home. I would like to ask you all to please kindly donate as much as you can to help these needy orphans. I am hoping to go out there myself and start the works once I have raised an adequate amount of money to start the works. Please look at the pictures to see for yourself what conditions they are living in.

If you can’t donate anything then please do keep them and the Ummah in your supplications and in the meantime please pass this onto others who may be able to help.
