At around midnight, on June 23 2017, our lives were shattered, and we became irrevocably changed as human beings. We are now on a very different journey, united by a shared need to create a worthy and lasting legacy in James’ name.

We believe that all young people at risk of offending are capable of positive change, and can achieve their full potential when offered a safe and supportive environment where they can comfortably discuss their experiences, and be given the tools and means in order to address their behaviour. The James Brindley Foundation exists to provide these environments.

On Friday 02 November 2018, we launched The James Brindley Full Circle Programme. The programme is an educational tool for children and young people, and an assessment tool for professionals. It has been developed to address a variety of behaviours and criminogenic needs, that could lead to individuals making decisions that can have a negative lasting impact on both their lives and others. The programme focuses on family functioning, peer pressure, anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, gang culture, violent behaviour and child exploitation. The programme was trialed last year with a selection of young people in care with great success. The James Brindley Foundation will now work to deliver this programme to as many vulnerable young people throughout the United Kingdom as possible. We can only do this with your help. Your donation will help us deliver the programme to those who need it most.
