This Sunday 19th March I will be attempting to run the Stafford half Marathon (13.1miles). For everyone who knows me.... you will agree to say the least I have never exactly been a runner!

I am running on Sunday in the hope of being able to raise money for Katherine House Hospice, based in Stafford. A very close friend of mine unfortunately lost his father to the dreaded disease that is cancer late last year.

Katherine House not only made his father’s last days comfortable as could be, they were also there for the family and went the absolute extra mile to do everything that they possibly could. Knowing what they do and the support and care that they give, personally gives me comfort that in your time of need this phenomenal organisation is there to help.
