Victoria Sports FC is a Central Somerset based amateur football club that is on the edge of greatness! Having won 2 consecutive promotions, they are now top of the Mid-Somerset League 1, and ARE 25 GAMES UNBEATEN during 2016/17. Still in 5 cup competitions, there is the real chance of a massive haul of silverware this season.

As with all amateur clubs, there is an enormous amount of voluntary work that goes on in the background to help ensure the survival of the club, including fundraising activities. Financial pressures are one aspect to this, and with money needed for pitch fees, match officials, training facilities, league and cup entry fees to name a few, the club needs to be able to raise funds. To that end we need to raise £500 In order to secure safe passage into the 2017/18 season, and make sure the club is financially stable.

As captain of the team, James Thompson has committed to running the Yeovil Half Marathon on 26th March, to raise money for the club, and invites any other VS players or supporters who would like to do the same to get involved! All we ask is for donations from local people who care about the club, or would be happy to see exhausted VS players at the end of the Yeovil Half!
