Story
I am asking for donations for our Community First Responders who work alongside South Central Ambulance Service.
The CFR volunteer around 20 hours a month who are unpaid and NOT funded by the government. They get dispatched from any area to attend before an Ambulance is despatched to help.
They are trained to deal with the following
Cardiac arrest
Heart attack
Stroke
Choking
Diabetic emergencies
Serious injuries (though not road traffic collisions)
Breathing difficulties
Patients suffering a seizure
Chest pains
Unconscious patients
They can arrive fast and provide Emergency care while an Ambulance is trying to reach you. We have all waited for an Ambulance before.
Lets do something to help train and provide vital equipment for this community based local volunteers
