My sister Lisa and I, along with our family and friends are aiming to raise funds to support my mum, Caroline following some unfortunate news that has hit our family last week.

My mum aged just 51 was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer earlier this year and had a full hysterectomy (de-bulking) and months of chemotherapy. She is an absolute fighter and eventually got the all clear a few months ago! We were over the moon that we could carry on life as normal, however recently our lives have changed again.

My mum suddenly got really poorly, being sick every day for 3 weeks with no explanation. After a number of scans the surgeons have found a secondary cancerous brain tumour. The hospital and staff at Preston have been excellent and scheduled her in for priority surgery to try remove the tumour on Thursday 7th December.

We really want to raise money so me and my family and especially my mum can all have the best memories that will last a lifetime.

My mums wish is to have a big family trip away, this would make her very happy!
