Story
I decided to run MK half marathon for young minds.
Last year a dear friend of mine son took his own life and a few other children at my childrens school have also took their lifes. Young people are our future and there is so many pressures they face , they deserve our support , someone to listen to them . There is not enough money allocated to these services.
This time last year I could only run 5k but with the support and encouragement from Leighton fun runners and my husband, my running has improved without them I would never have dreamed that I could run 13 miles .
