Story
My husband Mark and myself are undertaking the Manchester to Blackpool cycle ride on 8th July 2018. We want to raise money to support a cause close to our hearts and we are asking you to sponsor us as we pedal our way through the 60 miles!
I work in the Dolphin room which is part of the Children's Outpatients Department in the Treehouse at Stepping Hill Hospital. The Dolphin room is used for a variety of tests and procedures which we undertake on children, for example, taking blood samples and giving immunisations. We would love to be able to make the Dolphin room more fit for purpose, and more child friendly. We would like to brighten up the Dolphin room and have modern equipment to distract the children during their procedure. We would like to have equipment that enables the procedures to be undertaken appropriately and effectively, thereby giving children a positive experience of health care.

6 years agoMark and I sporting our medals on the prom (I’ve also got a glass of shandy - it tasted so good!) I’ve been for a physio session today, a treat for weary me, not sure it was enjoyable, especially my thighs!!
