My Dad lost two of his close friends following their individual battles with Cancer. He decided from that point he wanted to raise funds to support various cancer charities. He arranged a walk across the Yorkshire Three Peaks in 2003 and raised £23,319.34! It was a great success. The walk ran for a further three years in the Three Peaks before moving to Chatsworth. Since 2003 he has now raised £175,248.80.

This year’s walk will run in support of Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Care, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Oesophageal Patients Association. The proceeds of all the walkers sponsorship are shared across these charities. I will be completing the 9 mile walk with my husband, Simon and our two year old son, Oscar - who will be strapped to Simon's back or running after anything on four legs! Any donations would be welcome for this fantastic cause!
