I'm trying to make my very small rescue bigger so I can save more wild hedgehogs as they are in severe decline and I want our grandchildren and generations on to have the same enjoyment and love for hedgehogs, the main reason for decline is man made, putting roads down traffic, building into their habitat, putting barriers up like brick walls and fencing and leaving no holes for them to get through.
I want to give something back to help our wild hedgehogs to survive in our world as we keep taking their world.
I am so passionate about this but I'm afraid my funds just won't go far enough to extend the rescue all my funds go on meds and feeding them and other cost, I have also done a hedgehog rehabilitation & first aid course which I have my certificates so I can administer pain relief, antibiotic and fluids but also I have a really brilliant vet but they still cost money and the meds cost money, and thanku for looking and caring.
And finally the best bit is with your help we will save many more of these orphaned babies ( because mums have died on our roads) and the ones that are attacked my dogs or undernourished because they can't find food and autumn juveniles that if not brought in will not survive the winter.we save these little ones and come spring they are released back into the wild for everyone to adore and enjoy for generations to come to and hopefully have many more babies.
