    Story

Our charity is in its 10th year.We have donated nearly 100k to charities such as Macmillan cancer support and Yorkhill etc We have also sent a dying father on a special day out to see his Rangers heroes. Sadly he died weeks later.. This prize will help us change lives..This year Timber Builds(rescued us after original company went bust) have donated a Garden Summerhouse/Mancave worthup to £10,000 to be built to your specification as a prize so for a £5 donation you get one entry but if you give £10 you get the 3rd free (original ticket buyers now get double the amount) 50% will go to 6year old Cameron Walker whose story is below and the other 50 % to Down's & Proud. Draw is made on July 31st 2019
.Cameron is six years old and was born with an undiagnosed condition which has left him with profound and complex disabilities.Cameron is blind and has limited cognitive brain function which means his development is like that of a new born baby and is unlikely to improve. Cameron is unable to walk, talk or carry out any task independently. With Cameron’s lack of cognition, sight or muscle tone, Cameron has limited motivation to investigate and understand the world around him. Recently Cameron started to experience seizures and jerks which further complicate his significant care needs.Cameron uses a wheelchair to get around but his family home is not suitable for his needs. He has a small ground floor bedroom but must be carried twice a day to the bathroom upstairs. Cameron’s weight and poor muscle tone makes lifting difficult, dangerous and undignified for Cameron. Cameron’s family need to raise almost £10,000 in order to make adaptations to their home to provide Cameron with a larger bedroom , a wet room, ceiling tracked hoisting to lift him in and out of his chair and also provide other equipment including changing facilities since Cameron is doubly incontinent. Ground floor doorways need to be widened to enable Cameron to access all family living spaces.

The reason I do it is that i have lost so many family and friends to cancer etc. My grandson Mason aged only 13days died in Yorkhill from a twisted bowel so since then I have wanted to do this even more. Drawn on July 31st 2019 due to liquidation of original donating company
