My absolutely amazing friend Jax has just recently received devastating news. Jax has been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the hip bone which has now spread to her lungs too. Jax has been told she has around 6-12 months to live. As you can imagine, Jax's family, friends and colleagues are crushed especially Jax husband Nigel, not to mention Jax is only 45 years young. Jax is a generous, kind, caring and amazing person, Jax herself has worked in care work all of her working life and has given and cared so much! Now it would be great for Jax to have some of that same treatment back.

All Jax really wants is to make some lasting and happy memories to share with her husband, family and friends. Jax doesn't want anything extravagant - no swimming with dolphins - just some of the simpler pleasures in life, such as a few day trips out, a spa day, maybe a fancy cream tea somewhere posh. As much as the bills seem irrelevant at a time like this, unfortunately they still have to be paid, and as Jax has been unable to work for several months,receiving only statutory sick pay, all the responsibility is on her husband.

So if you could just spare a few quid, even £1 this would mean Nigel could afford some time off work to spend some quality time with his wife making their last memories special.
