Hi my mum and her partner live in portugal and have asked me to make this page fo them. They have been walking their young dog charlie down their local beach and he had befriendly a lovely little stray dog who was terrified of humans, they had been taking her food down to try and build her confidence up so they could help her. The little dog fell pregnant and on the 13th of june gave birth to 5 little pups but 2 of them didnt survive the night. Word got to my mum that the counsil were on their way to catch the dog and her babies and put them in a kennel (there kennels over there are not nice) so mum and mick went down to the beach and managed to catch the mum and her babies themselves and have taken them in. The puppies ate doing great currently 4 weeks old and full of beans and their mum is slowly getting used to my mum. They are unsure on whether the dog will stay with them as shes so used me being stray but they are trying to get her to come to terms with them. If she doesnt stay they would like to get her spaded so she doesnt end up in this situation again and also want to get her and her pups wormed and jabbed and chipped but this will come at a cost that they would like help with if you can. They will be hopefully keeping her and her pups just need help protecting them and the vet costs for these beginning weeks.
