We’re (Josh & Jaymee) running the Great Tees 10k on the 8th September 2018 in memory of our nephew, Rocco Wright, to raise as much money as possible to donate to Blossom’s Legacy, a drowning prevention charity. As we lost Rocco through a drowning accident, this charity has become so apparent primarily due to the teaching and education they provide children for safety in and around water.

On the 21st April 2018, as a family our world came crashing down, we lost the most carefree, independent and amazing little boy in a tragic accident. Rocco was such a playful and cheeky character that made everybody smile and laugh, he was constantly running around with a snotty nose looking for his next adventure.

Although we only had Rocco in our lives for 3 short years, he has left a forever print on our broken hearts.

Fly high little boy, we will miss you forever. 💙 xxx

All the money we raise will be donated to Blossom’s Legacy, the charity has been formed to raise funds to educate, encourage and embody children with the skills and tools to allow them to be able to learn to swim from a very early age.
