Weʼve raised £300 to help with the recovery of Ronnie the Lollipop Man

Funded on Sunday, 23rd October 2016

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

On 22/09/2016 an amazing happy, caring, professional Lollipop Man RONNIE from Maghull was knocked down. He has kept our children safe for many many years, knowing the children's names and always saying hello.

" A lollipop man was knocked down by a BMW outside a Merseyside school this morning.
The pensioner, in his 70s, was taken to hospital with suspected head injuries.
Police are investigating the collision, which happened outside Northway Primary in Maghull at around 8am." <Liverpool Echo>

Please feel free to donate and show your support and add a little get well comment, all money will hopefully help aid his recovery and get him back on his feet. The children would love to see that he is ok and his jolly self.

I'm so pleased to hear that Ronnie is now in the comfort of his own home. Remarkable progress Ronnie. I'm also thrilled that people have helped kindly reach £300 in donations, thank you to each and every one of you who has donated. All wishes will be put in with the donation so Ronnie will be able to have a read of them.

Hi Heather, it was just a small way to thank him for the many years he has kept our kids safe. I hope they can have maybe a little trip away or treat themselves to something which will help him during his recovery. Lots of very kind and generous people who know him and wanted to show him support. I hope we can exceed the target, it went from £15 to nearly the target in a couple of days. Please wish Ronnie well on behalf of all who have donated so far 💙 I will print out all of the comments and pop then in the envelope with the donation
