On the 20th of August Max Allen, Ross Allen, Zac Tolfrey, Will Gilson and Jordan Brown are due to take on the Tough Mudder in order to raise enough money to send Jasmine, the younger sister of both Max and Ross, on a well deserved Skiing holiday. However Jasmine suffers from a rare disability called Rett Syndrome (affecting approx. 1 in 12,000 girls born every year), which means that specialist equipment and professional guidance is required to make this possible, and of course this is not a cheap expense!

What is Rett Syndrome? - "Rett syndrome is a rare neurological disorder affecting mainly females and very few males. It is present from conception and usually remains undetected until major regression occurs at around one year of age, when children may lose acquired skills and become withdrawn. Genetic but largely not inherited, Rett syndrome is usually caused by a fault on a gene called MECP2 which is found on the X chromosome. People with Rett syndrome have profound and multiple physical and communication disabilities and are totally reliant on others for support throughout their lives."
